Mr. Chandler has been Chairman of the Board
of Precyse Technologies since September 2010. Mr. Chandler was also the Chairman
of the Board of DataPath, Inc., a provider of satellite and wireless
communications networks. Throughout his career, Mr. Chandler has provided
corporate governance and oversight to a number of public and private companies
by serving on their boards. Those companies are CNP Technologies, Enterprise
National Bank, Employee Benefit Plans, Inc., Healthdyne, Inc., Miller
Industries, Inc., Summit Partners, and Floor & Décor.
His first major business venture from 1972-1983 was the founding of Qualicare,
Inc., the largest private owner of hospitals in the United States. From 1986 –
1993, Mr. Chandler bought and enhanced United Plastic Films, Inc., a producer of
polyethylene film products. While Mr. Chandler was running United Plastic Film,
he was also a key contributor to Atlanta, Georgia’s bid to host the 1996 Olympic
Games. From 1986 –1996, Mr. Chandler was responsible for the conceptualization
and presentation of the plans for Atlanta’s Olympic Village to the International
Olympic Committee. Mr. Chandler orchestrated the development and funding of its
Olympic Village. He also served as Mayor of the Olympic Village during the
actual games. Mr. Chandler received a B.S. degree from Georgia Tech and an
M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Since
his graduation, Mr. Chandler has remained active in support of college education
and athletics. His roles have included board memberships to both the Georgia
Tech Foundation and the Georgia Tech National Advisory Board. Mr. Chandler has
also provided support to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
For six years, he served on the Wharton Graduate Advisory Board. Additionally,
he sponsored an entrepreneurial professorship at Wharton.
